PRIVACY
Your search stays in your browser.
This page describes the public ModelMatch EV Australia edition published by Albervos. Updated 26 October 2026.
Directory interactions
Model, repair-job, model-year, state and keyword filtering runs in your browser using the downloaded directory data. There is no account system, vehicle identifier form, booking integration, payment service or automatic outreach. The directory does not send filter choices to a search backend.
The acceptance enquiry checklist is generated locally. Copying it uses your browser’s clipboard only when you choose Copy acceptance checklist; if copying is unavailable, the text can be selected manually. The site does not send the checklist to a workshop.
Saved workshops and local storage
The app uses browser localStorage, under the key modelmatch-saved, to keep up to three workshop identifiers for your saved comparison. It does not store a VIN, registration, fault history, name or contact details in that entry. Saved identifiers are read by this site’s code and are not sent to a server by the app.
Saved choices can persist between visits on the same browser and website origin, until you remove workshops from the Saved view or clear the browser’s site data. They are not synced between devices. If storage is blocked, the shortlist can still work during the current visit.
Cloudflare hosting and connection data
The public edition is served through Cloudflare Pages. Loading pages, assets and downloads sends normal web requests to Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process information such as your IP address, request URL, traffic-routing and browser/system information to deliver and protect the service. Hosting and security processing is separate from the app’s local filters and saved workshop identifiers.
The directory code does not set cookies. The hosting provider may apply service or security mechanisms under its own policies. This edition includes no advertising, analytics, tracking pixels, external font service or embedded map scripts. Passive ownership verification markup, when present, does not execute advertising or analytics code in your browser.
See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy ↗. Its processing and retention are governed by its services and policies; this site does not promise that connection data is never logged.
Email you choose to send
If you email albervos@proton.me, the publisher receives your sender address, message and any attachments you choose to include. Your email providers and Proton Mail process the correspondence to deliver and store it. Correspondence is used to review your request or correction and reply where appropriate; it is separate from the public directory dataset.
Send only the information needed for your enquiry. You can use the same address to ask about your correspondence or request its deletion; requests are considered subject to any legitimate need to retain a record. The directory has no automated email-deletion portal.
External links and downloads
Workshop, original-source and Google Maps links open external services only when you choose them. Those services have their own privacy and intake processes. A map link uses the workshop’s published address; no location permission or device-location feature is implemented here. Telephone links pass the workshop number to your device’s calling application.
The dataset and blank repairer update worksheet are static downloads from this site. Downloading the worksheet does not submit information, and editing it on your device does not upload it.
Future services and questions
Advertising and analytics scripts are absent from this edition. If additional services are introduced, the privacy information and any required consent choices will be prepared before those services are enabled.
